As part of a weeklong D+R Residency at Automata, artist Rachel Ho takes on the role of Chief Innovation Executive of Unmet Need™, a company conducting hands-on research to optimize its newest product solutions. At her Pop-Up Innovation Lab, Ho offers two free “focus groups” for consumers to experience her socially-driven and playfully-interactive experiments. Join us in creating the future of custom commerce!
“Do you have an Unmet Need™? Do you like to treat yourself? Have you ever struggled to find the perfect gift? If so, these sessions are perfect for you!
Unmet Need™ believes that you deserve better, so we are reinventing the novelty and souvenir industry. We seek to define the value and story behind a fully customized product, one that will put your photo mug from Staples to shame.”
FREE, or contribute in support of the program. Reservations recommended.
The Unmet Need™ Pop-Up Innovation Lab is also open for limited walk-ins sessions during the week. Visit unmet-need.net for hours.
This D+R Residency event is collaboratively offered by Los Angeles Performance Practice and Automata, with support from the California Art Council’s Creative California Communities program.
